Editor's review
Are you looking for an easy way to extract all the excel or pdf files you received via mail last year and save them in a distinct folder on your computer? Are you seeking a quick method to forward or archive messages from your POP3 account? Basically, do you want a hassle-free way to get a backup of your mails or attachments? If your answer to any or all of the above questions is yes, you need to try PopTransAct 3.0.
This software can help you to greatly systemize the actions you want to be performed on your POP3 account. For this all you need to do is click on the Mail tab on the main screen of this software and then fill in the fields in the Input section for Server, User, and Password. Then, on the same screen in the Output section, you need to specify the Local storage Folder name or the alternate email address you want to transfer the mail to. You can also set the timer to a specific time interval to automate the actions you defined to be performed on your POP3 account on the same screen. Further, you can have PopTransAct work on multiple mail accounts. This can be programmed by clicking on the Multiple Accounts List.
Then in the predefined rows and columns, you can enter details, such as Server, User, Password, and Transfer Email Address for your other accounts. Any actions to be performed on mail attachments need to be specified on the Attachment Actions screen. You can access this screen by clicking on the Attachment Actions tab on the main screen.
All in all, PopTransAct is a very easy and user-friendly software. Though the screens are a drab gray in color, they have very well-defined fields. Hence, giving PopTransAct a rating less than 3.5 is out of question.
